Actual buy-in means that people:
- truly buy into the shared vision and mission.
- don’t bad mouth the overall vision behind closed doors.
- believe.
- have drank the kool-aid. (And I mean that in a positive way.)
- will apply their strengths toward the shared vision.
Actual buy-in doesn’t mean that everyone always agrees on everything – even though we do build relationships over agreement. But it means that people have declared their buy-in and commitment to a cause or vision. Silence does not mean agreement. Actual buy-in is only possible through declared intent.
